Apple Brandy Cake

Cake Ingredients
5 tablespoons Apple brandy or brandy
4 cups Apples -- peeled and chopped
2 cups self raising Flour
2 teaspoons ground Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Soda
1 teaspoon ground Nutmeg
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon ground Cloves
1 cup Walnuts -- chopped
1 cup Raisins
2 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Oil
2 Eggs
Icing sugar
1. Preheat oven to 375F or 190C. Sprinkle brandy over apples, and set aside.
2. Combine flour, cinnamon, soda, nutmeg, salt, and cloves; stir in walnuts and raisins.
3. Combine sugar, oil, and eggs; beat well, and blend into flour mixture. Stir in apples.
4. Spoon batter into a greased 13x9x2" pan. Cook for 1 hour
5. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack. Sift powdered sugar over top.
